BMKG analysis results showed the first earthquake that shook the region of Sorong happened at 1:46:05 am with the power of a magnitude of 4.2. The epicenter at coordinates 0.76 degrees southern latitude and 131.27 degrees eastern longitude at a depth of 5 kilometers.
The second quake that shook Bintuni happened at 6:29:08 am, with the power of a magnitude of 5.4, with the epicenter at the coordinates of 2.26 degrees southern latitude and 133.86 degrees BT at a depth of 10 kilometers.
